Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr began her career in 1990, as leader singer of The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim as well as their three elder siblings. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. Andrea Corr was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was bestowed upon her and she is also recognized as a member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she is also their leader. Andrea is a singer who first began performing as an acting in 1991, then grew into an actor and stage artist. She worked as an accompanying singer in the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is the owner of six studios albums to her name, along with two compilations albums, four live albums and one mix album. Andrea has received awards by her charity work as well. Andrea's husband, a stockbroker, and two children belong to her. Andrea began music lessons learning the tin flute. Gerry introduced Andrea to the keyboard. Andrea is also proficient on the Ukulele. Andrea spent the teen years working on her singing skills. She practiced with her siblings and eventually earned the position of the lead singer of the band. Andrea frequently performed in school's plays. She went to the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
